The video is a step-by-step guide to Jane’s approach to painting an oil portrait and includes the drawing stage, the colour-mixing stage and the complete paint application stage from beginning to end!

The demonstration is most suitable for those who have had some experience of oil painting. If you are a complete beginner, it may be of more use to refer to the ‘Portrait Painting in Oils’ Course.
