Mini Portraits

During the Autumn/Winter of 2025 I worked on a series of mini portraits. They are just 4” x 5” (10cm x 13cm) in dimension and are painted in oil on canvas board. They were a great opportunity to experiment with colour, light, shapes/angles, expressions, likeness and mood. I have particularly enjoyed the small size as it has enabled me to capture the essence of the ‘sitter’. All paintings are based on anonymous photographic references.

They are just £80 each and include FREE shipping!

I can provide framing for these mini portraits which means the overall dimensions will be 7” x 8.5” (18cm x 21cm) and the total cost will be £120. The painting will be float-mounted in a solid wood frame in either natural wood, black or white.
